Utilizing technology to bring a sketch to life: Clo3d
What is Clo3d?
Clo3D is a virtual garment simulator in which you can bring flat sketch to a 3D rendering by using patterning techniques, draping, or other exploration using the application.
For the below project Laine used Clo3D to pattern and fit a pajama collection made amidst the global pandemic. In order to ensure an accurate rendering Laine used accurate stretch textiles in Clo3D and concluded the garments with proper finishing if needed. This project was made possible by a proficiency in understanding fit, ability to construct patterns, and experience in 3D apparel rendering.
